Boys Will Be Boys

OK. My children have embarrassed me before (like S yelling, every time we go in Target, "Mommy! Did you toot!?"), but this one is definitely towards the top of the list. When I picked S up from Sunday School last Sunday, one of his teachers informed me that he got in trouble for spanking the other teacher. Yes, he SPANKED HIS TEACHER!!!! Any reason it couldn't have been another kid? Not that he should be spanking anyone. To make matters worse, he refused to apologize! So he got to sit in timeout for TEN MINUTES until he decided to apologize. Can we say stubborn!? He has way too much of his daddy in him :)
Now, I realize that you are all probably finding this quite humorous, and I'm sure, once we change churches, that I will, too. How do their little boy brains come up with these ideas? He thought it was very funny when we asked him about it -- and it didn't help that E busted out laughing, too! I think that might be the source of many of his ideas, despite the fact that those two are like oil and water. If you think of a good idea but don't want to get in trouble, get little brother to do it. I wouldn't know anything about that, personally, though. I also have a feeling that as they get older, the ideas won't go away. They will just become more creative. I think I should be very afraid!

I am so sorry I am missing all of these "things" that Sam is doing. If we are lucky something will happen while we are there....

Oh, it is just one of those things. As you know, these type of thing are a usual occurrance in my house full of boys.

This too shall pass!!

Wish Mr. S and Tagalong could hang out together!!

Hey, wait until the day he decides to take the live bullet (albeit old) that was found in the street (bad neighborhood??) to school one day for show and tell. I think I had indentations in my face for several hours after holding my head in my hands while on the phone with the very understanding assistant principal... Would it be really bad to be suspended from school in 1st grade..??
