Just before dinner tonight, E lost a tooth (and was very excited about it). A little while later we were in the kitchen making chalupas, and Grandma asked E where she put her tooth. E said 'right there' and pointed to the spot on the counter where D had just dumped a huge bag of shredded colby-jack cheese to thaw. Do you know what shredded jack looks like? It is exactly the same color of a tooth!! D, L, E, Grandma, and I were all desperatley searching through the cheese to find the tooth before someone ate it for dinner!! Luckily, I found it on the very edge of the cheese pile. There was relief all around!
